Had my MRI today. 80 minutes of laying perfectly still. Today marks the one month mark since I last ran. The thought of three more months of this is maddening. I keep thinking about how crappy my running will be when I start up again, about how much fitness I will have lost. I need to start biking. I’ve been going to PT twice weekly and working on strengthening exercises, and “closed chain” exercises. Lots of core training, lunges onto a foam pad, stationary bike work, etc. I’m hoping the MRI contradicts the Bone Scan and maybe my convalescence will be shortened a bit.
