I have been more or less faking my way through these 5-milers and 5Ks with no training. I can get away with that at short distances, but the risk of injuring myself even more on a 10-miler is too great to ignore.

I have been more or less faking my way through these 5-milers and 5Ks with no training. I can get away with that at short distances, but the risk of injuring myself even more on a 10-miler is too great to ignore. The race also occured after working 4 night (3pm-3am) shifts in a row, and I also knew that after the race was over I had to go in to work a 3pm-11pm shift in the ER. Yuck. |
